Please read these terms carefully before using Bulk Deleter.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bulk Deleter ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bulk Deleter is a web application that helps users delete emails from their Gmail accounts in bulk. The Service allows users to:

  • Search for emails using Gmail search operators
  • Preview emails that match search criteria
  • Move matching emails to trash
  • Permanently delete matching emails

3. Important Warnings

PERMANENT DELETION WARNING

When you choose "Permanent Delete," emails are immediately and irreversibly deleted. They cannot be recovered by you, by us, or by Google. Not from Trash, not from anywhere.

RECOMMENDED: Use "Move to Trash" First

We strongly recommend using "Move to Trash" instead of "Permanent Delete." Trashed emails can be recovered for 30 days, giving you time to verify nothing important was deleted.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

  • You are solely responsible for the emails you choose to delete
  • You have reviewed the preview and understand which emails will be affected
  • Permanently deleted emails cannot be recovered under any circumstances
  • We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from your use of the Service

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Carefully review email previews before initiating any delete operation
  • Not use the Service to delete emails belonging to others without authorization
  • Maintain the security of your Google account credentials
  • Accept full responsibility for all actions taken through your account
  • Comply with Google's Terms of Service and Gmail's Acceptable Use Policy

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Delete emails from accounts you do not own or have authorization to manage
  • Destroy evidence or obstruct legal proceedings
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated scripts or bots beyond normal Service usage

6. Google Account Authorization

The Service requires access to your Google account via OAuth 2.0. By authorizing the Service:

  • You grant us permission to access your Gmail for the sole purpose of performing delete operations you request
  • You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings
  • We will only use the access as described in our Privacy Policy

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL BULK DELETER, ITS OPERATORS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM EMAILS DELETED THROUGH THE SERVICE, WHETHER INTENTIONALLY OR ACCIDENTALLY.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulk Deleter and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

Section 10

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

You may also terminate your use of the Service at any time by revoking our access to your Google account and ceasing to use the Service.

Section 12

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Section 13

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
